Assessment Reports
The DQB published reports from the assessments it undertook under the Quality and Standards Review method for providers seeking registration with the Office for Students (OfS), the Standards Assessment method, and any assessments undertaken to provide the OfS with advice related to applications for degree awarding powers. QAA, acting as the DQB, made an independent decision to publish this information, and this decision has not therefore in any way been made for, or on behalf of, the OfS.
Reports are only published after the OfS has concluded its regulatory decision making. This may be some months or years after the DQB has conducted its assessment. This also means that where the OfS allowed a provider to withdraw its application for registration or degree awarding powers after the DQB concluded its assessment, then these assessments will not be published. This page therefore does not represent a comprehensive repository of the DQB’s activities.
QAA will continue to maintain this page after it no longer holds designation as the DQB as further regulatory decisions are made by the OfS.
Any judgement related to the provider’s compliance with the regulatory requirements in England is made by the OfS. For questions relating to regulatory requirements and arrangements, please contact the Office for Students. To check the provider’s current registration status, please see the OfS Register.
Prior to a report being finalised and submitted to the OfS, providers were asked to consider the report in order to point out any errors of fact. After the report is finalised and prior to publication, providers are given a further opportunity to highlight any information they consider to be commercially sensitive that we may consider removing or redacting from the published version.
The reports are organised by year the assessment was completed, and alphabetically by provider. If you have any queries or cannot find a report you expected to find here, please contact QAA.
